Chedworth Cricket Club is a friendly village club based on a well kept ground in the heart of the Cotswolds with beautiful views of the surrounding hills.
On Saturdays Chedworth play in Division 7 of the Gloucestershire County Cricket League. They started in this league in 2015, having won division one of the Cirencester and District Cricket League in 2014. Chedworth were also division one champions of the CDCA league in 2003 and runners up in 2011. Chedworth also play evening friendly matches throughout the summer and on occasional Sunday afternoons and one Wednesday evenings throughout the winter.
Chedworth CC has been established since 1888 and has played at a variety of locations around the village during the last 125 years, settling back at the Beechwalk during the 1930's. In 1995 a new pavilion was opened and the ground extended slightly to provide the excellent facilities that you find today.
Many a visiting team have said that, at tea time
the chocolate cake is not to be missed!
