Chedworth Cricket Club is a friendly village club based on a well kept ground in the heart of the Cotswolds with beautiful views of the surrounding hills.
The club welcomes all players of any age and ability and runs junior sessions for local children on Sunday mornings.
On Saturdays Chedworth play in Division 1 of the Cotswold District League and were division champions in 2003. Chedworth also participate in the Evening Knockout cup and play evening friendly matches throughout the summer against local school staff sides and on occasional Sunday afternoons.
Chedworth CC has been established since 1888 and has played at a variety of locations around the village during the last 115 years, settling back at the Beechwalk during the 1930's. In 1995 a new pavilion was opened and the ground extended slightly to provide the excellent facilities that you find today.
Many a visiting team have said that, at tea time the chocolate cake is not to be missed!
